There are several playgrounds and picnic areas near the lake proper. The playgrounds have well-maintained equipment for young children to enjoy and the picnic facilities are suitable for casual get-togethers, barbecues, and family reunions. Wooden tables, benches, and charcoal barbecue grills are provided.
Reserving Facilities
If you’d like to use our large picnic area for an event it can be reserved by contacting the Lake Heritage office staff.
A detailed map will help you locate each area. A drive, bicycle ride, or hike around Heritage Drive which loops the entire lake will tell you more.
