About Lake Heritage
Founded in 1965, chartered as a non-profit corporation under the PA Uniform
Code for Planned Communities. Self-governed by 9 elected board members supported
by a community manager and structured by deeds, covenants, by-laws, Rules
& Regulations, and building codes. Includes 750 acres with a 154-acre lake,
252 waterfront home sites and 811 additional home sites with lake access privileges.
Over 852 lots now include homes. Spans 3 townships – Mt Joy, Straban, and
Mt. Pleasant.
